By connecting our Member Leagues and the generations of fastpitch athletes, the Alliance will create an organized infrastructure that drives athlete-centric programming, events and resources geared towards the continual development of elite athletes, coaches, and parents.

HOW TO REGISTER
STEP 1:TEAM REGISTRATION FOR MEMBER LEAGUES
- Coach or team admin registers entire team with a member league
- Coach or team admin pays the team fee
STEP 2:INDIVIDUAL REGISTRATION FOR MEMBER LEAGUES
- All Coaches and players (via the parent first) register for the member leage
- Alliance fee is paid individually by each coach and by each player
STEP 3:USA SOFTBALL INSURANCE AND COACH BACKGROUND CHECKS
- Individual coach and individual player info will be sent to USA Softball by The Alliance
- USA Softball will send the Team Admin virtual ID cards with insurance information
- USA Softball will send coaches a link for background check and safesport
STEP 4:UPLOAD YOUR ID CARDS
- Upload your digital ID Card to your profil and use for events
- Register by Sept. 8th and receive FREE MLB.tv subscription
- All athletes and coaches will begin receiving exclusive member benefits from The Alliance Fastpitch
Question: Who is The Alliance Fastpitch?
The Alliance is the national unification of all Alliance Member Leagues including California , Gulf Coast, Heart of America, Rocky Mountain, Southeastern, and the Texas Fastpitch Leagues (more member leagues expected soon). The Alliance will provide oversight and guidance for the regional fastpitch leagues in order to create a sound infrastructure in the elite youth game. Additionally, the Alliance will drive athlete-centric programming and resources geared towards the continual development of elite athletes, coaches, parents, and officials.
Question: Why join The Alliance Fastpitch?
All Alliance Member leagues players and coaches are required to join the Alliance. As an Alliance member, you will have access to digital resources, events, experiences, and individual insurance provided by USA Softball.
Question: How do you join the Alliance?
The head coach first must register their team with their member league. After, an email invitation is sent to all players and coaches to register with the Alliance directly. All members will be issued digital ID card and be issued individual insurance through USA Softball.
Question: Why should teams join the Alliance?
This national alliance will have enormous benefits for the sport, the teams, coaches, and, most importantly, the players.
Question: What benefits do players have that join the
The Alliance brings together the fastpitch community in a way that drives the fastpitch athlete and game forward. Alliance members strive to raise the standards in the sport for athletes, coaches, parents and officials. The organized infrastructure allows for (1) Enhanced competition across the country (2) athlete development opportunities on and off the field (3) identification of top athletes in each age division and (4) collaboration amongst industry leaders.
Question: Does the Alliance have its own league games?
No, the Alliance teams compete in events within their region (or out of region) as normal. Teams accrue points for a new fall and summer championship series.
Question: How will The Alliance utilize stats to create synergy
amongst the Member Leagues?
One of the key areas where The Alliance will align is in game stats. The Alliance will help fans keep track of the leaderboards of teams and individuals in pre-detrermined statistical categories. This will help create historical data for league leaders.
Question: Does joining the Alliance mean member teams cannot
compete against non-Alliance teams?
Alliance teams compete in all existing events as normal. When a member team plays another member team during an endorsed Alliance Member League event, each team has the ability to score points. Play vs. non-league teams is not scored towards point totals. We encourage all teams to continue their normal schedules but want to help provide competitive meaning and value to games.
Question: Does the Alliance allow from competition with other
Yes. All member leagues will be awarded points when they face each other. Teams will be awarded points based on their home member league point structure. Teams that choose to travel to other states or regions may also be eligible for bonus points for travel.These point values for events will be determined beforehand. We want to reward teams for winning competitive events within and outside their regions.
Question: How do member teams accrue points?
Each point structure is based at the Member League level. When playing outside of your Member League, a formula is applied to convert points earned into your home point structure.
Question: How do teams qualify for National Play?
Teams compete for a weighted shared of post season berths into a National Championship series. Member Leagues must distribute berths based on competitive play in championship events. The Alliance will issue berths to each Member League at the start of the season. All Championship berths will be earned via League play.
Question: Is there a cost to joining the Alliance?
There will be a minimal T eam administrative fee for each season to be in a Member League. This amount is being determined to cover administration and startup costs. There are no additional costs for existing tournament play -- entry fees will be paid as normal for any event inside a Member League schedule. The Member League and Alliance championship series will be an additional tournament with fees customary to that type of event. Individuals on each team -- athletes and all registered coaches -- will pay an annual Alliance membership fee.
Question: What is included in The Alliance membership
Individual athlete memberships fees will include general liability insurance provided by USA Softball. This insurance will cover athletes in scheduled practices, league play, tournaments, and National Championship events. This insurance will also cover individuals in any USA Softball sanctioned event and many other sanctioning bodies who allow insurance from outside associations. Additionally, individuals will have access to multiple Exclusive Member Benefits including digital resources, digital and onsite events, and partner offers. Alliance members will also receive discounted opportunities through Alliance sponsors. Coaches will also receive individual insurance, a background check via USA Softball, and access to SafeSport training. Additionally, coaches in the Alliance membership will have access to some of the best coaching minds in the game via digital learning, onsite events, and resources.
Question: How is The Alliance different from existing associations
or governing bodies?
The Alliance works with several associations including USA Softball, USSSA, and Triple Crown Sports. Our vision is to help bring everyone's strengths together into one team. The Alliance is a community of like-minded individuals who want to add value to the athlete experience. The Alliance is not a sanctioning body. Member Leagues have the autonomy to utilize different sanctioned events within their league schedules.
